LONDON: Former finance minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ishaq Dar will return to Pakistan along with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday.
According to the details, Dar will arrive in Pakistan with Premier Sharif.
Immediately after arrival in Pakistan, Dar will take the oath of Senate membership and ministry.
Miftah Ismail will also be a part of the economic team.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail has stepped down as the finance minister of Pakistan.
Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leadership has nominated ex-finance minister Ishaq Dar as Miftah’s replacement.
PML-N supremo commended Miftah Ismail on steering Pakistan out of the default-like situation.
The ex-finance minister thanked the PML-N leadership for providing him with the opportunity and said that he diligently served his duties during his four-month brief tenure.
