Dubai: The Cricket International Council (ICC) announced a revised program for the ICC 2025 World Cup on Friday, throwing Bangalore’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium as a reception area.

According to a statement issued by the Bengaluru Stadium, where 11 cricket fans died during June celebrations, they would no longer host World Women’s Cup matches, including the original game.

Navi Mumbai has been named as a replacement, the ICC added.

The DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will now host up to five lamps, including three league matches, one semifinals and possibly its final tournament.

Bengaluru was originally one of five host cities, but has been replaced in the up -to -date plan. The overall tournament program remains unchanged, with matches that need to be played from September 30 to November 2 in five spaces.

In addition to Navi Mumbai, the confirmed host stadiums include ACA Stadium (Guwahati), Holkar Stadium (Indore), ACA-VDCA (Visakhapatnam) stage and R. Premadasa (Colombo, Sri Lanka).

According to the ICC, the first semifinal will take place on October 29th either in Guwahati or Colombo, while the second semifinal is scheduled for October 30 at Navi Mumbai. The final, set for November 2, will be organized either in Navi Mumbai or Colombo.

The Women’s World Cup 2025 will include eight groups, which will face each other in the form of round Robin. The first four sides will proceed to the semifinals. The matches will be played in Bangalore, Vizag, Indore, Guwahati and Colombo.

One semifinal will take place in Bangalore, while the other is scheduled for either Colombo or Guwahati. The final will take place on November 2, with Bengaluru and Colombo undergoing potential places.

The teams will also play two warm -up matches each, starting on September 24. India is expected to take over 2022 in England in a warm -up conflict in Bangalore, followed by a component against South Africa on September 27 in Guwahati.

The 2025 edition marks the 13th dose of the Women’s World Cup, which took place for the first time in 1973.

Their participation through immediate qualifications was England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and hosts India.

The last two points were claimed by Pakistan and Bangladesh, who ended in the first two qualifiers of the World Women’s Cup in April.
