ISLAMABAD: PML-N vice-president Mohtarma Maryam Nawaz has said that the government that increased the prices of flour, electricity and petrol is a certified thief.
Talking to the media after appearing in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday, she said that the prime minister will have to be answerable to his theft. “The PTI will not get ticket-holders in the next elections. The electronic voting machine is a new plan of rigging,” she added.
Maryam Nawaz said that the PML-N will react if the tenure of the NAB chairman was extended. “The person not relying on his performance will fail on each front whether it is inflation, economy, foreign relations and foreign policy,” he added.
She said that Imran Khan used to say that accountability starts from the prime minister. “When your (Imran Khan) theft was revealed, you easily refused to be accountable. How can you say this when it was not your property?” she questioned.
