Govt decreases petrol price by Rs12.63 per litre

ISLAMABAD: Government on Friday slashed the petrol price by Rs12.63 per liter.

Addressing a news conference on Friday evening, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the government was reducing the price of petrol by as much as Rs12.63 per litre, and the new price of petrol will be Rs224.80 per litre.

Similarly, the price of High-Speed Diesel has been cut by Rs12.13 per liter to Rs235.30.

The price of Kerosene oil was reduced by Rs10.19 and Light Diesel Oil was down by Rs10.78.

Meanwhile, due to the floods and load on the system, Dar deemed the request as genuine and granted a month’s extension in filing income tax returns.

The last date to file income tax returns was now October 31.
