Gonzalo, trent combined to send Los Blancos to Fifa Club Fourth Cup quarters

Trent Alexander-Arnold marked his growing influence on Real Madrid with a well-made help, as the Xabi Alonso side fell to Juventus to close their place in the World Cup quarter-finals.

International England, making the fourth straight start for Madrid, gave a Pointpoint cross early in the second half, Gonzalo Garcia headed a 1-0 win at Hard Rock Stadium.

Alonso, continuing with a 5-3-2 formation, saw his team lead their fate to the start period.

Juventus threatened to break the impasse through Randal Kolo Muani, who broke from a very promising position after Kenan Yildiz’s release. The Turkish young man also saw a strong strike that is widely diverted during a strong spell on Serie A.

Madrid struggled to win a point in the first half, but had quality flashes. Jude Bellingham forced a smart savings by Michele di Gregorio, while Federico Valverde refused from a remarkable stop by Juventus goalkeeper.

Di Gregorio continued to shine after the break, canceling both Bellingham and Dean Huijsen in a fast succession.

However, he could not do a little to prevent Garcia from feeding a header in the 54th minute-one goal created by Alexander-Arsarold’s tradition from deep to the right.

Garcia’s effort, the third tournament, secured Madrid maintained their undefeated course under Alonso. The 21 -year -old forward scores or helps each of his appearances, fueled further comparisons with the legend of Raúl González.

The target proved to be quite a bit for the Spanish giants, who later introduced Kylian Mbappé for his tournament debut after a recovery from a period of gastroenteritis. The Frenchman replaced Garcia for just over 20 minutes to play.

Madrid, who now won 14 of their last 15 World Cups of the Club, will face Borussia Dortmund next to the quarterly final on July 5th.

Juventus, meanwhile, will gather in a summer training camp in Germany as they are preparing for the 2025-26 Serie A, which begins on August 23.

The help of Alexander-Arnold can mark the start of a fruit capital in Bernabéu. The former full back of Liverpool contributed 92 assists to 354 appearances during the occupation of Anfield-more than any Premier League defender for the same period.

Madrid fans will hope that this tradition is a taste of what will come.
