Punjab residents can now secure their favorite vehicle registration numbers for cars, bikes, and commercial vehicles through a hassle-free online bidding system, without ever stepping into an office.
The Punjab Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, in partnership with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), has launched a new round of the e-Auction via its mobile app and web portal. Interested citizens can register and bid on numbers of their choice until July 30, 2025.
This innovative move makes it easier than ever for people to grab unique and attractive number plates—from the comfort of their homes.
Speaking about the initiative, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said:
“The e-Auction platform offers a fully transparent and user-friendly experience, allowing users to participate in real-time bidding from anywhere. The results will be published directly within the app, ensuring smooth access and complete visibility.”
He added that this digital platform is not only streamlining service delivery but also eliminating the need for middlemen and agent networks, helping to build public confidence and promote corruption-free governance.
Whether you’re a private car owner, biker, or managing a fleet of commercial vehicles, this is your chance to own a special number that stands out — quickly, securely, and entirely online.
