RAWALPINDI: Former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has passed away at a hospital in Rawalpindi after being kept on a ventilator in the Critical Care Unit of the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology for the last several days.
Jamali was 76 and briefly served as the Prime Minister under General Musharraf’s dictatorship.
He suffered a heart attack a fews days ago after which his condition worsened.
Senior politician Jahangir Khan Tareen expressed condolences on the demise of Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali.
Famous talk show host, Hamid Mir also shared a memorable picture which showed that Jamali was part of the first panel of the hit show, Capital Talk.
Senior journalist Iftikhar Ahmad stated that Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali was a fatherly figure for him.
