Multan: Aftab Ahmed called on Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar in Multan, on Friday to discuss matters pertaining to the problems faced by overseas Pakistanis.
Aftab Ahmed serves as CM Punjab’s focal person for Overseas Pakistan and has been working hard to facilitate overseas Pakistanis during the pandemic.
In an exclusive conversation with The Pakistan Daily, Aftab Ahmed said: “I briefed the Chief Minister over my work facilitating overseas Pakistanis in the last few months. Because of COVID-19, many Pakistanis have been left in vulnerable conditions, however, the Punjab government is doing everything it can to ease their pain.”
He stated that many overseas Pakistanis had complained of becoming victims to land grabbers with their investments back home being targeted by unsavoury elements.
“Chief Minister Usman Buzdar ensured swift action against landgrabbers and promised to facilitate overseas Pakistanis in every way,” Aftab Ahmed said.
