ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) president and chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman has summoned an important meeting of PDM heads to be held today (Friday).
The meeting will be held in Islamabad which will be presided over by Maulana Fazlur Rehman. According to sources, a detailed discussion on the current political situation in the country will be held during the meeting.
Earlier, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with the chief of Pakistan Democratic Movement Maulana Fazlur Rehman here on Thursday and discussed in detail the current political situation in the country.
During the meeting, they strongly condemned the attacks of workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on state institutions and damage to government properties.
PM Shehbaz and Maulana Fazlur Rehman also discussed future strategy in the wake of the recent decision of the Supreme Court in which the apex court gave relief PTI chief in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
