Famous Pakistani actor and musician Farhan Saeed, formerly a prominent member of the popular music group Jal along with Atif Aslam, recently delved into his past experiences with Bollywood film deals. In an interview with Something HighSaeed discussed the time when he and the band were gaining popularity in India.

You know, in India, whoever emerges invites acting offers,” said Saeed.
“We used to laugh and turn down those offers,” he humorously revealed. In particular, the musician recounted an incident where he almost signed a Bollywood film. Saeed revealed, “I was locked in a film with Mithun Chakroborthy’s son. We met and they finalized me for the role of a musician.”
Reflecting on the opportunity in retrospect, he expressed his gratitude that he ultimately turned it down, stating, “Luckily, I didn’t.” The actor-musician further revealed that the film, which was initially supposed to mark the debut of both him and actress Urvashi Rautela, took an unexpected turn.
“Urvashi Rautela and I were to debut with the film. We both left the project together after having a conversation over a call,” added Saeed. “We were like we don’t think we should take on this project,” he said of his conversation with Pagalpanti actor.
As fate would have it, the film ultimately flopped, confirming their decision to step down together. While Saeed’s acting portfolio is dotted with hit TV dramas, the actor’s venture into cinema took time.
