ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Tuesday announced a three-day holiday, from Tuesday, July 20 to Thursday, July 22, on account of Eid-ul-Adha.
According to the sources, these three days will be considered as the public holiday on the occasion of Eid ul Adha.
This year, Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on Saturday, July 21 (Wednesday).
Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated in remembrance of the willingness of Hazrat Ibrahim to sacrifice the life of his son for Allah. The timing of the holiday depends on when the new moon is seen at the start of the Zilhajj.
