ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination and President Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Dr Fehmida Mirza presided over the 91st meeting of the Executive Committee of the PSB in Islamabad.
The meeting was attended by all the executive committee members.
The agenda items were discussed at the meeting and decisions were taken concerning the last meeting of the Executive Committee.
The meeting also discussed the poor performance of the POA at the Tokyo Olympics
The meeting discussed the performance of Pakistani athletes at the Tokyo Olympics and the performance of POA in this regard.
It was informed in the meeting that no performance audit of KPOA is done. Expressing concern over the meeting, the participants said that there is an urgent need for a unified national sports policy in the country. Can’t go the old way now.
Meeting participants expressed concern over the POA delegation sent to Tokyo Olympics they added that the POA is responsible for mismanagement at the Tokyo Olympics.
The meeting agreed that the name of Pakistan will be used only by those who follow the government’s guidelines.
