LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has neutralised a would be suicide bomber who tried to sneak into a police station near Lahore.
The terrorist was killed after exchanging fire with CTD personnel after he shot at police at Burki.
Later on, a suicide vest and two hand grenades were found in the terrorist’s possession. It has been learnt. The suspect was firing from a hand gun which was also been recovered.
At the moment, the identity of the terrorist is being withheld and a search operation has started in the area.
Previously, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) produced evidence that India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) was spearheading terrorist operations in Pakistan.
A dossier which included evidence of Indian sponsored terrorism in Pakistan has also been shared with the people of Pakistan and the international community in a recent press conference by Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
