LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has tested positive for COVID-19 and is self isolating, a focal person in the Punjab government confirmed.
Usman Buzdar is suffering from mild symptoms which include a fever since last night and has been advised to rest.
After the announcement, people across Pakistan started wishing for the swift recovery of Usman Buzdar.
The Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry said: “Wishing @UsmanAKBuzdar early recovery and best of health….”
Law Minister Punjab also took to the microblogging site, Twitter, to extend best wishes of a swift recovery to CM Punjab, Usman Buzdar.
Raja Basharat said: “May Allah bestow a complete recovery and a healthy life to CM Punjab, Usman Buzdar.”
Pakistan has witnessed over 459,000 positive cases of COVID-19 out of which over 409,000 have recovered and almost 10,000 people have lost their life to the viral disease.
