LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab, Usman Buzdar has assured full support and quick resolutions of the problems faced by overseas Pakistani in a meeting with Aftab Ahmed.
Speaking to The Pakistan Daily, Aftab Ahmed, who serves as the Punjab Government’s focal person for overseas Pakistanis said: “The issues of overseas Pakistanis are very dear to Usman Buzdar sb. During this meeting, the Chief Minister ordered the police and district administration to resolve the matters of overseas Pakistani on an urgent basis.”
Aftab Ahmed said that many overseas Pakistanis were facing problems with their properties and some of them had complained that their land had been taken over while they lived abroad, however, he assured that the Punjab government was determined to act against the land mafia and solve all problems faced by overseas Pakistanis in Punjab.
“The highest officials in police and administration have been ordered by Chief Minister Punjab, Usman Buzdar to ensure that all complaints by overseas Pakistanis are resolved,” Aftab Ahmed told this correspondent.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that his doors would always be open for overseas Pakistanis and their issues were very close to his heart.
Aftab Ahmed, who is based in the UK, is currently in Pakistan in order to make sure that the complaints of Overseas Pakistanis are resolved at their earliest.
