Canada’s Tim Hortons to start operations in Pakistan soon

ISLAMABAD: Canada’s popular and largest restaurant chain Tim Hortons is set to launch operations in Pakistan this year.

The restaurant will open its first outlet in Lahore with plans to expand across Pakistan.

The company took to its social media to announce its entry into Pakistan. “As we continue to grow Tim Hortons around the world: Tims is opening in Pakistan this year,” the company posted on its official LinkedIn account.

Tim Hortons is known for its doughnuts and coffee. The opening of Tim Hortons in Pakistan is vital for the economic boost that is struggling for Foreign Direct Investments.

Tim Hortons has over 5100 restaurants across 13 countries including the United Kingdom, United States, Mexico, Spain, China, Thailand, Philippines, and the Middle East.

Back in March, the restaurant announced to introduce of its operations in India. The first outlet will be opened in New Delhi with a plan to establish itself at 300 locations in the country over the next ten years.
