Karachi:
Teaser of Telefilm ‘Be-Gunah’, directed by Shamoon Abbasi, has been released, shed light on the functioning of India’s false flag in Pahalgam earlier this year.
Focusing on the report of India’s narratives, the story of “Be-Gunah” illustrates how the Indian government sacrificed its own tourists for political advantage and then shifted responsibility to Pakistan to justify aggression.
The film also highlights Pakistan’s dynamic response, including the city of Indian fighter jets of jet jet jets jets.
The filmmakers have long argued that drama and cinema serve as powerful means to deal with false propaganda and promote their own national narrative. With “Be-Gunah”, the local industry aims to exhibit the “deception and gradual theatrical” of New Delhi.
“Pakistan’s drama is by no means behind any other global showbiz industry and” Be-Gunah “is proof of it,” manufacturers said in the teaser launch. The cast characterizes Shamoon Abbasi himself, along with Nazish Jahangir, Kamran Jillani, Hassan Niazi, Hammad Farooqi and Saleem Sheikh. The story has been written by Ali Moeen and Irfan Chandio.
In social media, the teaser has received an overwhelming answer. One viewer commented: “At last, Pakistan began to respond to India in his own language.” Another said, “This drama will show the true face of India.” Even an Indian Muslim fan observed: “I will definitely watch this!”
Production comes in the context of April 2025’s attack on Pahalgam, a tourist destination in Indian illegal occupied Kashmir jam, which resulted in the deaths of 26 people. Without presenting evidence, India immediately accused Pakistan for participation.
“Be-Gunah” is placed as a cultural opposite narrative, offering what its creators describe as “truths that open the eyes” about India’s political machinations and Pakistan’s response. Telefilm seeks to combine political comments with patriotic narrative, emphasizing the role of the entertainment industry in shaping public perception.
With the combination of political drama, sequences of action and a powerful patriotic issue, Telefilm has already mixed the debate and created the prediction before its release.
