Ayaz Amir’s daughter in law found dead in Chak Shahzad farmhouse

ISLAMABAD: Senior journalist Ayaz Amir’s daughter-in-law, Sara Bibi, was allegedly murdered in Islamabad’s Chak Shehzad suburb.

According to Islamabad police, the 37-year-old was living at a farmhouse in the area where she was found dead this morning. Reportedly, she was murdered with a dumbbell and her husband, Shah Nawaz, is the prime suspect in the case.

Police and investigation teams reached the crime scene and the journalist’s son was arrested after earlier fleeing from the crime scene.

However, the police have said that the FIR will be registered after an investigation has been conducted.

Meanwhile, Journalist Ayaz Amir said, “I am shocked at the tragedy”.

Ayaz Amir refused to comment on whether his son was under the influence of any narcotics.

Sources privy to the situation told The Pakistan Daily that Sara was Shahnawaz Amir’s third wife & was murdered with a dumbell during an argument.

Whilst it has not been confirmed, it is being claimed that the farmhouse where the murder took place belonged to the Pirzadas.

This is a developing story.
