Shahid Afridi’s inclusion in the PSL doubtful

Shahid Khan Afridi, the star all-rounder, has asked Quetta Gladiators, where he plays franchise cricket, to permit him to leave the bio-secure bubble. The fan favourite star notified the management of the franchise that he has been troubled by a back spasm. Zahir’s shirt stained with Noor Mukadam’s blood: Islamabad Police

Islamabad police released a statement on Tuesday shedding light on the development in the Noor Mukadam murder case, revealing that the prime suspect’s shirt was stained with the victim’s blood when he was arrested. The clarification comes after it was revealed by the Investigating Officer, during his cross-examination by the defence in court on Monday that National Forensic Science Agency (NFSA) were not able to find Zahir’s fingerprints on the knife, which was the weapon of offence, recovered from the crime scene. ‘Zahir’s fingerprints not found on murder weapon’, police tells court

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have told the sessions court that Zahir Jaffer’s fingerprints are not clearly identifiable on the knife used to kill Noor Mukadam. The police further claimed that Jaffer’s pants were not covered in blood but was arrested for being present in the house. This comes as suspicions about potential compliance between the Jaffer family and the Islamabad police are surfacing.
