On the instructions of PTI’s founding chairman, Imran Khan, Junaid Akbar Khan, a member of the National Assembly from NA-9 Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KPK) has been appointed as the party’s provincial president. A delegation from the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) is set to visit imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan to observe legal proceedings in multiple cases against him. The delegation will include parliamentarians from various countries and aims to review the ongoing trials of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder.
