What does Trump’s Victory Mean for Pakistan?
A few days prior to the recent US election, a video began circulating online which seemed to show Donald Trump praising Imran Khan and asking for his release from jail. This video caused jubilation amongst Khan Supporters, causing many of them to pray for a Trump victory. The video was later exposed by fact-checkers to be a deep-fake and Trump said no such thing, in fact he did not reference Pakistan and Khan in any of his pre-election campaigning.
