Audio Leaks: Imran Khan – Azam Khan conversation about US cipher leaked

ISLAMABAD/WASHINGTON: Imran Khan has become the latest victim of the audio leaks scandal after his conversation with Azam Khan regarding the US cipher was leaked.

In the audio, former Prime Minister, Imran Khan can be heard saying: “We won’t take any names, we just have to play with this,” regarding an alleged US cipher which threatened to remove PM Khan from office.

From the conversation, it can be deduced that Imran Khan formulated a conspiracy theory with his Secretary Azam Khan who seems complicit according to the audio.

This leak comes shortly after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s audio in which an alleged favour to Mohtarma Maryam Nawaz’s son in Law, Raheel Munir is discussed.

Earlier, user Indishell on the Dark Web claimed to possess 8 GB of data from the current and former PM of Pakistan which they were offering for around $3.43 million. Samples were shared with certain users however as per the thread the user has now been banned.

According to PTI’s Fawad Chaudhry, this audio leak simply proves that there was a cipher which was kept hidden from the former premier.

In the audio, Azam Khan can be heard suggesting the premier to call a meeting comprising of Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Foreign Secretary and himself.

“Ask Shah Mahmood Qureshi to read the letter, I’ll have it changed in the minutes,” Azam Khan can be heard saying.
