Asia Cup 2022: Pakistan beats Afghanistan by 1 wickets

Naseem Shah smashed two consecutive sixes in the last over as Pakistan registered a memorable one wicket win at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Needing 11 from the last over, Shah smashed first two deliveries out of the park to knock India and Afghanistan out of the tournament.

They crossed the winning line with four balls to spare and a wicket in hand. Pakistan will now face Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup.

The two sides will meet on Friday ahead of the tournament’s finale.
