LAHORE: Pakistani artist Tashfaen has created Pakistan’s largest calligraphy painting which is 5 feet in height and a whopping 34 feet in width.
Tashfaen’s religiously inspired artwork is based on decades of hard work with a wide variety of work experience including autogenous designs to customize paintings.
Speaking with The Pakistan Daily, Tashfaen said that her only inspiration is the Holy Quran and each art piece is the representation of quranic verses in Calligraphy including a diversity of Colours and immaculate compositions, which depicts her propinquity with Allah almighty and how She’s committed to Allah Almighty with what she creates.
“I use a few Quranic verses with which I feel more connected, With the wide variety of details including autogenous designs to portray ideas. My only inspiration is Quran and each art piece is the representation of quranic verses in Calligraphy including diversity of Colours and immaculate compositions, which depicts my propinquity with Allah almighty and how I’m committed to Allah Almighty with what I create,” the talented artist said.
Tashfaen, who is the recipient of the Visionary Award in 2017 has exhibited her work in Pakistan and abroad and has worked with various international brands.
The painting is currently featured at Tower 21, a luxurious apartment building made by Citi Housing.
