LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Anchor Imran Riaz Khan has demanded a public hanging for Zahir Jaffer whilst calling him a monster in an exclusive conversation with The Pakistan Daily.
Earlier, reports surfaced on social media which suggested that Imran Riaz may be a part of a PR campaign on behalf of the Jaffer family to malign Noor Mukadam.
These allegations surfaced after a Vlog by the anchor included some insensitive language for Noor Mukadam.
However, Imran Riaz Khan has clarified that he doesn’t know anyone in the Jaffer family and categorically denied that he was part of any PR campaign related to this case.
“I am not justifying the murder. I am signalling the root cause of these problems for the betterment of our society. In my video, I was referring to the family system where women are protected,” Imran Riaz Khan told The Pakistan Daily.
When asked regarding the evidence of Noor Mukadam’s calls, Imran Riaz Khan said that he had heard that information from Mubasher Lucman’s channel and had verified the information from a source.
“If there is anything I can do to ensure justice for the Mukadam family, I will do it. I demand a public hanging for a monster like Zahir,” Imran Riaz Khan said.
