Ambreen Fatima says her recent columns may motivated attack on her

Lahore: Ambreen Fatima, the wife of Journalist Ahmed Noorani, says it is not clear why she was attacked.

While speaking to The Pakistan Daily on the phone, Ambreen Fatima said that she did not know of any clear and concrete evidence of the attack but she said that the fabric of the attack maybe linked to her column which she had recently published on a news website.

Fatima said that in the area of ​​Taj Hora Scheme of Ghaziabad police station where she was attacked yesterday, she used to go to the park evening walk with her sister every day.

His sister and his youngest son were also with him. She said she just left the house and the speed of the car was not so fast when suddenly a man appeared from the street and hit the windscreen of the car with a hard or iron object. The glass shattered and fell on me.

Meanwhile, the man said “I will kill you” and then ran away. “Driving was also a problem for them at that time,” she said.

To a question, Ambreen Fatima said that she has never been followed by anyone and has never received any threatening phone calls. Can be the reason.

Earlier, Punjab Police has confirmed the attack on Ambreen Fatima, the wife of Ahmad Noorani in the Ghaziabad area.

Taking to Twitter, the official account for Punjab Police stated that the incident occurred last night in which unidentified people broke the windscreen of Ambreen Fatima’s car. According to the police, Ambreen brought the car to the police station herself and that an investigation has started.
