‘All of them should be killed’, American professor expresses hatred for Palestinians

As Israel continues to pound Gaza with airstrikes killing hundreds of people every day, a video of an American economics professor at the University of Southern California, John Strauss, expressing hatred for the war-torn Palestinians has gone viral on social media on Thursday.

The Palestinian death toll from the Israeli offensive has surpassed 11,000, with thousands more injured, as people continue to die as the war in the besieged Gaza Strip drags on for more than a month.

“Every one of them must be killed, and I hope they all are,” Strauss was caught on camera saying, apparently in response to a question about the situation in Gaza or a remark about pro-Palestinian students at the university.

Palestinian writer and poet Mohammed el-Kurd also shared the video on his Instagram Stories.

“I received this video from USC students. The level of anti-Palestinian racism on US campuses is disgusting. Shame on @uscedu,” he wrote.

The video was also posted by an American organization “combating Zionism and Zionist hatred” on the microblogging site X, questioning the university for the hatred expressed by one of its professors.

“@USC does this professor represent the values ​​of your institution? Has he been reprimanded in any way? Your students and all Americans who are against hate demand an answer,” wrote Stop Zionist Hate.

With hundreds of Palestinians dying every day and no respite in Israeli atrocities in Gaza, Muslim and Arab leaders are trying to end Tel Aviv’s war on Palestine.

Currently, Saudi Arabia is hosting an emergency joint Islamic Arab summit in Riyadh involving leaders of Arab and Muslim countries to discuss the war in Gaza.

At the summit, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman called for an immediate end to military operations and the release of hostages.

He said Israel bears responsibility for what he called “crimes committed against the Palestinian people,” calling for an end to the siege of the Gaza Strip.
