KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting is being held today at Bilawal House.
The meeting is chaired by former president Asif Ali Zardari and PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto.
The CEC meeting will discuss the current political situation and the relations between the Opposition parties. PPP will also discuss the proposal of nine PDM component parties regarding en masse resignations from the assemblies
Several members are attending the Central Executive Committee meeting via video link due to the ongoing coronavirus situation in the country.
The PPP had earlier delayed the CEC meeting due to the Senate session.
Meanwhile, all major parties had shown their willingness for resignations from assemblies but PPP had sought time to deliberate on the matter.
