Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar has called for urgent dialogue and international intervention as cross -border tensions between India and Pakistan.
In a series of powerful tweets published on Thursday, Zafar urged the retention of both nations, warning of the devastating consequences of a war between two nuclear countries.
“We have just heard explosions from our home,” Zafar wrote, referring to aerial monitoring allegedly conducted by Pakistani forces to neutralize the aircraft entering the border.
“For those who hit the drums of war … Do you really understand what a war could mean between two nuclear nations? This is not a movie. War is disasters.”
We just heard explosions from our home.
For those who hit the drums of war, celebrating violence, causing further conflicts – do you really understand what a war could mean between two nuclear nations?
It’s not a movie. War is a disaster. Innocent Lives – Children, Families – Paid …

Zafar’s comments come in the midst of a spike on hostilities, with military exchanges and activity with aircraft reporting in various parts of the border.
His tweets reflect a double message: a steady support of Pakistan’s armed forces and a strong appeal for peace and diplomatic commitment.
“Such challenges that are risking innocent lives, are extremely convicted,” he continued.
“We have always had full faith in our armed forces to protect us … but Pakistan’s desire for peace should never be confused for inactivity.”
Calling on the international community to “intervene decisively – now”, Zafar stressed that “dialogue is the only real solution”, urging leaders on both sides to speak, listen and resolve the crisis before sowing further.
From what I understand, the explosions had to block the aircraft from beyond the border.
Such challenges, risking innocent lives, are extremely convicted.
We have always had full faith in our armed forces to protect us and respond with power and clarity when needed.

As explosions echo the border cities and tensions, they catch the subcontinent, Zafar’s voice unites a growing choir within civil society, prompting unity, leadership measurement and a collective rejection of violence.
“Every life matters. Every nation deserves security,” he wrote. “Pakistan Hain to Hum Hain. Pakistan Zindabad.”
Latest tensions
The latest escalation in the tensions between India and Pakistan follows the April 22 attack on Pahalgam, Indian illegally occupied Jamos and Kashmir (Iiojk), which led to 26 deaths. India immediately accused the data based in Pakistan for the orchestration of the attack, although no evidence was provided. Islamabad strongly rejected these claims.
In retaliation, India closed the Wagah land borders on April 23, suspended the INDUS Water Treaty and Pakistani was revoked. Pakistan responded by highlighting any disorder in the flow of water as a “act of war” and closed the crossing of Wagah on his side.
The situation was further escalated on Wednesday, as they report various cities in Pakistan, such as Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Muridke and Bahawalpur, detailed multiple explosions. Pakistani military spokesman Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry confirmed that Indian air strikes had targeted multiple locations in Pakistan. In response, Pakistan started the Swift Air and Ground businesses.
Within the first hour of retaliation, Pakistan has announced the fall of five Indian fighter aircraft, including four Rafale aircraft, recently acquired by India from France to strengthen its airline defenses after Balakot’s failed operation in 2019.
“Pakistan could break 10 Indian fighter aircraft,” Lt Gen Chaudhry said during a press briefing. “But Pakistan chose to exercise restraint.”
Despite the scale of the reaction, the Indian media has remained largely silent about the losses. The Hindu, a prominent Indian newspaper, initially said that three Indian jets jets, but later removed the article, probably under pressure from the Indian government to avoid further embarrassment.
An American commentator on CNN said that the possible loss of jet jet jets jet jets jets, jet airplanes, which had been carved out. Some experts estimated that the confrontation served as a test of Chinese and Western military technologies, especially after Pakistan acquired Jets J-10C from China in response to the Rafale fleet in India.
A senior France Information official confirmed to CNN that a jet Rafale had actually collapsed from Pakistan, signaling the first time this sophisticated French aircraft had been lost in battle.
In another development, Pakistan’s Armed Forces confirmed the elimination of 25 Israeli Harop aircraft used by India in recent cross -border activity.
A statement issued by public relations between Pakistani’s services (ISPR) confirmed Thursday that these aircraft were shot down using both electronic countermeasures (soft -killed techniques) and conventional weapons (hard -killed) after detecting multiple areas.
The ISPR described drone raids as a “desperate and panicked answer” from India, which came after Pakistan’s contrasting operations on May 6 and 7, where five Indian fighter jets and jets.
