Ailing Ch Shujaat advises Imran Khan to be cautious of Advisors

LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to remain wary and cautious from the suggestions of his advisors.

“When Imran Khan’s advisors advise him, there is always an angle. They spin things in a certain way and the damage is done to Imran Khan. PM Khan should consider whose game they are playing, how they are playing and why are they playing it?” the ailing PML-Q supremo said in his latest statement.

Though ill, Chaudhry Shujaat maintains a deep influence in the politics of Pakistan and his statement shortly after PM Khan’s warning that he would be more dangerous if removed from power represents the inhibitions PML-Q may have.

Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Imran Khan shake hands with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Awn Chaudhry by their sides.

The PML-Q is PTI’s major coalition partner and even after Moonis Elahi was appointed as Minister for Water Resources, the alliance has remained shaky at best.

“The Prime Minister should listen to those that are sincere to him instead of considering them his enemies,” Shujaat who has also briefly served as Prime Minister, said.

Shujaat also criticised PM Khan’s latest threat of being more dangerous if removed from power arguing that such a statement reflected animosity, not friendship.

Prime Minister had called on Chaudhry Shujaat on August 6 in Lahore to enquire about his health.
