With Season 8 in full swing, we can’t help but drop a few names for the inevitable upcoming installment
Coffee with Karan is the center of all gossip and drama when it comes to Bollywood. However, over the years, it has also become somewhat of a landmark. If you’ve made it to Karan’s coveted couch, you’ve made it – period. No wonder Ananya Panday sees the same as a major achievement, lamenting the fact that her father never appeared on the show.
Either way, there’s no good reason why our Pakistani stars can’t make it to the Koffee couch. With Karan’s Konscience giving him a hard time lately, maybe it will bother him enough to invite the following Pakistani stars in the inevitable upcoming season:
He is funny. Come. Bollywood loves Fawad. India loves Fawad. Besides, there is so much publicly unresolved drama here. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil The rent-free fiasco lives on in most people’s minds, and it’s time the public got some answers. Moreover, Fawad and Karan share great chemistry, which is evident from the few interviews they have done together. We definitely need to see this reunion and hope it paves a way for the duo to work together once again, creating cinematic magic once again.
There is no way a Coffee with Karan The season takes place with Pakistani stars and Mahira is not invited. Does not make sense. They are Pakistan and India’s Zaalima. It would be even better if he could be placed in the hot seat next to Shah Rukh Khan. It is only fair that two of the biggest stars from Pakistan and India share the couch. Perhaps, we could hear how Shah Rukh feels about Mahira, her acting skills and working with the Pakistani superstar.
We’ve all seen one too many memes about how one of the most unfair things to come out of the split is that the Chanias have stayed on our side. Indians love the quirky, bubbly star and it’s only fair that KJo gives them what they want. It would also be interesting to see Hania’s personality shine through, given that it’s one of her strongest suits. One can expect the rapid fire round to be beautifully chaotic and any competitive activity fueled by friendly rivalry. We have to do this, Karan.
While Adnan is beloved in our side of the border, the star has done well enough in India to warrant an invite. It is also one of the main examples when it comes to discussions around the huge success of Pakistani dramas, even across the borders. Karan could pick his brain while also enjoying Adnan’s casual, often cheeky and mischievous demeanor that many have seen shine through in interviews where he is comfortable. It would also be interesting to hear him speak openly about his experiences in India.
Pakistan’s biggest superstar should definitely grace Koffee’s sofa. You just have to. Not only is it a huge success in Pakistan, but Humayun also has a devoted following across the border. To add to that, he is now a global star, and watching Karan try to pick his brain would be extremely interesting. Plus, it’s entirely possible to unlock the star’s naughty side if he’s comfortable and asks the right questions. And if there’s anyone who’s unapologetic about the line of questioning, it’s Karan.
Not only has Atif given everything and more to the Indian film industry through his amazing vocals, he is also a certified actor now. The star reinvents himself and is always hard to find when it comes to interviews. Atif is also very calm and collected in interviews, so it would be hilarious to try and watch Karan go through the singer’s mind. Besides, there’s a plethora of Bollywood must-have stories that we just haven’t heard of. Bring him on the show!
While the star has often spoken about her Mum costar on social media, inviting her to Koffee with Karan to pay her full respects to the late Sridevi is just the right thing to do. He could come alongside Adnan, who was also part of the same offer. Hearing both of them talk about the late Sridevi should be a nostalgic stroll down memory lane, offering some rare candid moments in the otherwise fantastically frivolous show. Moreover, we would love to see the suave Sajal open up in a way that is only possible in the presence of KJo.
Ahad Raza Mir
How come we don’t have our own Hamlet on the show? Bollywood has compared Gurfateh Pirzada to him so many times that, at this point, the two deserve to sit face to face. Coffee with Karan, ironing out their similarities and differences, once and for all. After all, Ahad is also a global star with international projects under his belt. And he has the wit and charm to do an interview on Koffee and win many hearts.
It would be criminal not to include Saba on this list. Strong, lively, bold and carefree, Saba is literally the perfect candidate for Koffee’s couch. Actually, Karan doesn’t know what he’s missing by not inviting this firecracker of an artist. She could weigh in many aspects of showbiz like stardom, staying relevant and owning the screen with immense skill and grace. Moreover, it would be a great injustice to have her on the show and not question her about her experiences with the late Irrfan Khan.
In summary, these nine stars should definitely be a favor Coffee with Karan soon. Besides, with reports of the ban on Pakistani artistes being lifted, this might just be the list Karan needs for the next installment of the highly engaging and mouth-watering drama show.
