18-year-old girl gang-raped near Gojra M4, Motorway

LAHORE: A girl was kidnapped and gang-raped after being lured to a fake job interview on M-4 Motorway Gojra.

According to the details, the girl who belongs to Toba Tek Singh was, reportedly, physically abused by the gang after being kidnapped.

The victim’s age is said to be 18 and her name is identified as Iram ul Nisa.

The accused including two men named Hamad, Rehman and a girl Laiba forced Irum into a car and drove her all the way towards Faisalabad, M4 motorway.

Hamad and Rehman raped Irum in the moving car and threw the victim out of the car after having committed the heinous crime.

According to the FIR of the incident registered on the complaint of the victim girl’s aunt, her niece received a text message on her mobile phone from a woman in which she was told she would be given a job at a boutique in Gojra. “But instead of giving her a job she was raped by three men,” reads the FIR.

According to the police, the victim has gone through a required medical process and her DNA report is being obtained.

The culprits are on the run, however, police are further investigating the matter and FIR has been registered against the accused.

Earlier in September last year, a woman was gang-raped during a robbery bid near the Gujjarpura motorway. The victim was travelling with her children in a car when the vehicle stalled due to lack of petrol. Later, a court sentenced two men to death for a rape which triggered public outrage.
