The Netflix thriller is returning on April 24 for its fifth and final season and promises to go out with a stroke.
After all that happened in season 4, Joe Goldberg’s fate is finally on the line – but before we get there, it’s worth discovering how far things were running the last time.
With new characters, shocking upheavals and a cold revelation that returned all season on her head, here are 10 basic moments from you at 4th time to remember.
1. Joe starts from Jonathan Moore in London

At the end of season 3, Joe fired his death, cut his finger and left his son behind. At era 4, reappears in London with a new identity – former former Jonathan Moore – and tries to start a quiet life. But fans know that Joe’s “fresh starts” never stay quiet for long.
2. Conducts a social circle of the London elite

Joe ends up being involved with the most powerful and annoying socialists in London. Although it releases their confidence, it becomes part of their world, including characters such as Lady Phoebe, Kate and Adam. Soon, the members of this internal cycle begin to appear dead.
3. The mystery ‘Eat the rich killer’ unfolds

A killer called “Eat the Rich Killer” begins to aim at the rich Joe team has joined. Paradoxically, Joe tries to protect and investigate crimes, suggesting that he may try to change. But in a dark twist, it turns out to be the killer – without realizing it.
4. Joe’s new romance with Kate Lockwood

Joe Falls for Kate, a smart social with more depth than most of her friends. Like love Quinn, Kate has a strong and dangerous family and her romance with Joe quickly becomes serious. But with Joe’s past, the danger is never far behind.
5. Rhys Montrose is not real – it is an illusion

One of the biggest revelations of the season is that Rhys Montrose, whom Joe believes is the real killer, is a form of his imagination. Joe commits himself the murders, while delivering a version of Rhys that encourages his worst impulses.
6. Joe reaches a point of crushing

Joe’s mental state is deteriorating when it is revealed that she abducted Marienne and kept her drugs in a cage. “In fact, he had plunged Marienne and kept her captive, confirming how far Joe was.” His illusions have passed a new line.
7. Lady Phoebe leaves Adam behind forever

Lady Phoebe ends her toxic relationship with Adam after learning that she deceived only after her money. With the finale, he has left behind high society and teaches children in Thailand – one of the few characters to get a happy ending.
8. Nadia pays the price for learning too much

Joe frames Nadia’s student after revealing his crimes and liberating Marienne. “By the end of the season 4, Nadia is in prison. She refuses to speak or try to defend herself.” Joe, who once protects young people, has now activated one.
9. Joe accepts who really is

Joe kills Kate’s father and does not try to justify it. Unlike the previous seasons, where he saw himself as a good person who makes bad choices, Joe now embraces his identity as a murderer – making him more dangerous than ever.
10. Joe and Kate start a new life in New York

The season ends with Joe and Kate living in New York as a powerful public couple. Joe’s image has been completely restored, and with Kate’s influence, it seems that he can do anything without consistency. The season 5 is going to be his last chapter.
